UIS: Percentage of population age 25+ whose highest level of education is lower secondary, female is currently reported for 88 countries. The highest value is 50.4% in Zimbabwe; the lowest is 0.3% in Poland.
The median across all reporting countries is 14.6%, and the mean is 15.6%.
The gap between the highest and lowest reporting country is a factor of about 162.
Over the past decade 36 countries rose and 50 fell. The largest increase was in Poland (up 330.3%), and the largest decrease in Israel (down 87.8%).

About this data
The percentage of female population (age 25 and over) with completed lower secondary education (ISCED 2) as the highest level of educational attainment. This indicator is calculated by dividing the number of females aged 25 years and above who completed lower secondary education as the highest level of educational attainment by the total female population of the same age group and multiplying the result by 100. The UNESCO Institute for Statistics (UIS) educational attainment dataset shows the educational composition of the population aged 25 years and above and hence the stock and quality of human capital within a country. The dataset also reflects the structure and performance of the education system and its accumulated impact on human capital formation.
