This dataset describes the supply of goods and services in the economy by product and by type of supply, distinguishing between whether the products supplied are produced domestically or imported. It presents the Supply table at basic prices (the price received by the producer or, for imports, the value at the border) and purchasers’ prices (the price paid by the buyer). The Supply table is organized in a matrix format: The columns provide information about the suppliers. They consist of: output by economic activity (at the 2-digit level of the International Standard Industrial Classification of All Economic Activities (ISIC) Rev 4, containing 89 industries); imports of goods and services valued on a cif basis; cost insurance freight (cif) basis; cif/fob (free on board) adjustment; direct purchases abroad by residents; trade and transport margins (broken down between trade margins and transports margins); taxes less subsidies on products (broken down between taxes on products and subsidies on products). The rows provide a breakdown by product (using the comparable European Classification of Products by Activities (CPA) breakdown). The dataset has been prepared from statistics reported to the OECD by countries in their answers to the annual Supply and Use questionnaire.
